UGANDA VISA REQUIREMENTS, FEES & HOW TO APPLY
You will be checked by an Immigration Officer when you get to Uganda (at the chosen point of entry) or the Immigration Office Headquarters. This person may decide that your application is finally accepted. You or a third party you choose must give true and correct information about everything you do.
An acceptance for a visa or permit application can be taken away at any time and for any reason, like if new information changes the person’s eligibility. Making a materially false, fictitious, or fraudulent statement or claim in an electronic visa or permit application that you or someone else submits on your behalf could get you in trouble with the law or with the government.
How to Apply for a Ugandan eVisa:
Go to https://visas.immigration.go.ug/ and apply for a Ugandan eVisa.
An Immigration Officer will look over the application after it is sent in. Please keep in mind that more information may be needed during the approval process. You can send the new information online through “Manage your applications.”
An email with the result about the application will be sent to the address the applicant gave.
If accepted, a letter of approval will be sent to the given email address as an attachment. To get it, click on the link.
Having this travel authorization does not mean you will be able to get into Uganda. If needed, travelers will go through a second round of checks before being personalized.
To get into the country, you must show an immigration officer a legal travel document that is good for at least six months.
