KENYA EVISA / ETA FEES & INFORMATION, Everyone who wants to visit the Republic of Kenya, even babies and kids, needs to have an accepted Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA) before they take off.

The processing time is three (3) business days, but it could take longer in some situations. It is possible to choose expedited processing if you need your entry to be handled more quickly.

GET YOUR KENYA ETA OR EVISA

You have to use the official website of the government to send in your application. Applications sent through websites that are not owned by the applicant will be automatically rejected. For kids younger than 18, the application needs to be filled out by their legal guardian, parent, or an adult who is with them.

KENYA EVISA REQUIREMENTS

Before you start your application, please make sure you have the following ready.

For everyone who travels

Keep your passport valid for at least six months after the date you plan to enter Kenya. Make sure it has at least one blank page.
Selfie or picture for a passport
Name, email address, and phone number of someone to contact
Information about your plans to arrive and leave
Confirmation(s) of lodging reservations
Charge card, debit card, or some other way to pay
Depending on where you live and your identity, you may also need the following:

Money-related things or bank letters
Depending on the reason for your stay, you may also need the following:

Letter and/or appointment letter from the hospital or doctor who sent you
Letter inviting you to attend a conference or inviting others to join; employment contract; supporting papers for resettlement; vaccination or test result certificates;
For business travelers who are coming in

Letter of invitation from the business
Copy of the company’s registration
For travelers going to see family

Letter of invitation from host or family
ID card, passport, alien card, or entry permit of the family member or owner
For official business trips

A passport for diplomatic, official, or service
A letter from the country of origin, an organization, or the foreign office.

Application Steps to Make Things Easier for You:

Upload the visa page with your information on it.
Use your webcam to take a picture.
Fill in your information.
Give information about when you will arrive, leave, and stay in Kenya.
Fill out the section for general details.
Fill out a customs form.
Fill out the health statement.
Give details about your travel insurance.
Upload a copy of your flight confirmation and proof of your hotel reservation.
If you need to, add any other papers.
Follow the rules and agree to them.
Cost in total: The handling fee is $32.50, and the bank fee is $1.59, for a total of $34.09.

KENYA EVISA EXEMPTED

People who don’t need to get an Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA)

Holders of legal Kenyan passports or one-way emergency certificates from Kenyan embassies around the world.
People who live permanently in Kenya and have legal work permits and passes.
People who have valid Kenya eVISAs
People who have a legal UN Conventional Travel Document from the Kenyan Parliament.
The people who work for diplomatic missions and international organizations that are accredited to Kenya do not have to pay.
People who live in Burundi, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Rwanda, South Sudan, Tanzania, and Uganda are East African Partner States citizens. (Not required for six (6) months)
People traveling through Kenya who don’t leave the grounds of Kenyan airports and either arrive and depart on the same plane or move to a different plane.
Every person who comes and goes on the same ship and doesn’t get off.
Members of the crew of any ship, plane, train, vehicle, or carrier whose name and information are on the crew list of that ship, plane, train, vehicle, or carrier and who are traveling to a place outside of Kenya on that ship, plane, train, vehicle, or carrier.
Private plane owners who stop in Kenya to refuel and don’t leave the airport grounds at any time.
