1 Day Tsavo East Safari
1 Day Tsavo East Safari, We’ll fill your day with elephants, giraffes, antelope, zebras, and maybe even some big cats. It’s an easy trip from your beach lodge. Take a break from your beach paradise and go on a trek in Tsavo East National Park, a famously big refuge.
With Safari Trips to Kenya, you can be picked up at your lodge on Diani Beach or another place. The drive to the park is easy. This is big sky country with rough ground that goes all the way to the horizon. There is a lot of big and small game here. The red oxide in the soil gives the land a unique pink color. Many of the big elephants will be proud to show off their new, golden look after rolling around in this unique dirt bath.
On Tsavo’s big plains, you can see lava tubes and great lava platforms that have hardened, which is different from the wildlife that is still moving around. Take off your boots and put on your safari shoes. Then let’s go.
What Does Tsavo East Have Going For It?
Have you ever heard stories about the dangerous Tsavo Lions? Your guide will tell you all about the stories. The males are different because they don’t have big manes like other lions, but it’s clear that they are good hunters.
Aside from lions and tigers, the park is also home to impala, duiker, baboons, and leopards. But you can’t miss the 500 species of birds that live in Tsavo. From herons and buzzards in the sky to the strange ostrich, they are all running around on the park’s open fields.
Safari to Tsavo East National Park for the whole day
2.5-Hour Drive
4:00 a.m. We’ll get going early today because we have a lot to see. Before dawn, your Safari Trips to Kenya driver/guide will stop by your hotel in a private 4×4 Land Cruiser Jeep to pick you up. Take a ride on the beautiful Nairobi-Mombasa highway, and we’ll enjoy the sunrise on our way to the park.
At the park’s opening, we’ll take a break to rest, enjoy some refreshments, and maybe even eat breakfast if we want to.
We can see the whole of Tsavo East, which is just ready to be explored. It’s hard to think that elephants, lions, cheetahs, buffalo, giraffes, zebras, and many other animals are just a short distance from the beach.
We will travel through the fields of Tsavo East and stop at well-known watering holes like the Aruba Dam, where thirsty people from the park come to cool off.
After lunch, we’ll take it easy at the Aruba safari camp, where we can see the great plains in every direction.
Then we’ll get back in our 4×4 and look for more wildlife. In this huge area, you never know what you might see. Let your guide find the best places to see the sights.
He will then point your Jeep back toward the coast in the late afternoon. You’ll be back at Diani Beach or another resort by 6:30 pm.
In one day, I went from the beach to animals and back again. We hope you liked this taste of outdoor life. Thanks for putting your trust in us. Let us know when Safari Trips to Kenya can help you plan your next big trip.
