Road or Flight Safari – Your Choice

Road or Flight Safari – Your Choice, You might imagine an exciting road trip through Africa, putting on the miles, listening to music, and taking in the scenery as you head from one wildlife park to the next.

Or maybe you see yourself getting on a small plane and flying over the fields and woods of Kenya and Tanzania. When you land at a nearby airport, you walk over to the park with a bit of an Indiana Jones vibe.

No matter what picture you have in your mind of your long-awaited adventure, we can provide the transportation, guides, and atmosphere to make your dream trip a reality.

Both road trips and air safaris have their own benefits and types of fun, so let’s look at what makes each one different.

Get on the Road

A romantic or interesting car trip, especially one that starts with the sun rising, is hard to dismiss. When you get in your 4×4 safari jeep and drive out over the desert, the thrill level goes up.

You and your guide will have a lot of time to talk about the next places and what to expect. Check out the guidebooks that came with your Jeep to learn more about every part of a trip.

There is also WiFi on board, so you can do research, share pictures, and generally stay in touch with people who aren’t having as much luck as you are right now.

As you go down into the Great Rift Valley, depending on your path, you may see plantations of coffee, tea, sisal, and pineapples. Take a break to enjoy the view of the valley’s dramatic cliffs.

Mount Kilimanjaro can be seen from Amboseli National Park in Kenya, where elephants live. 2
There are roads going both north and south.
If you are going north, you should stop at the equator to take a picture of the snow-covered peak of Mt. Kenya and remember this important moment.

As you go south, you’ll probably hit Maasai land. Keep an eye out for the Maasai herders in the brightly colored shukas who are taking care of their flocks. In the distance, you may also be drawn to the shape of Mt. Kilimanjaro, which is the biggest mountain in Africa.

You can get to your vacation spot another way, though: by plane. Kenya and Tanzania are both beautiful to see from above. The savannas, woods, lakes, and rivers look beautiful above them. The view of Kilimanjaro rising over the clouds is one of the best things in the world.

From your hotel or another place you choose, we’ll pick you up and take you to the nearby airport, where we’ll make sure you have a comfortable seat on your light airplane. Then it’s easy to take off into the new day as the sun rises over the fields below.

Air Kenya

It will be easy for you to land at an airport close to your park. When your plane comes to a stop, your Safari Trips to Kenya driver/guide will be there to meet you and take you to your 4×4 Land Cruiser Jeep. After that, it’s only a short drive to the park. You’ll feel refreshed and ready to go when you get there.

With an air safari, you spend a lot less time on the road and more time going through the parks looking for animals.

Take a road safari to see the towns, farms, and people of East Africa and get a feel for their culture.

Both will stay with you forever and are great ways to enjoy your Africa vacation.
