Our New Daily Trips to Nairobi National Park

Our New Daily Trips to Nairobi National Park

Our New Daily Trips to Nairobi National Park, You can get to a real animal park with lions, rhinos, buffalo, cheetahs, hyenas, and more with just a short hop from downtown Nairobi. As you look out over this national park, you can see giraffes running through the trees, with the buildings of Nairobi in the background.

But Nairobi National Park isn’t a zoo; it’s a real park where animals are free to roam. After breakfast at your hotel, you can be in the park in no time to see wildebeest and zebras making their yearly migration.

And now we offer trips to this very odd Kenyan park twice a day. On morning or afternoon tours, you can join the group and learn about the animals, such as hippos, ostriches, big cats, and many kinds of birds.

Here are a few special things about the park: As was already said, it is the only wildlife refuge in the world that is right next to a major city.

After you get over that shocking fact, the park is different in other ways. Like how many rhinos there are. In many wildlife parks, it’s not always easy to find the shy and rare rhinoceros. Not so here. The park is home to and protects Kenya’s largest group of rare black rhinos.

If you know Swahili, you know that “Kifaru” means “rhinoceros.” So many people know that the park takes good care of rhinos that it’s been called the “Kifaru Ark.” The park has so many of these wonderful animals that it sends extras to other parks across the country.

Join us as we walk the trails.

You can’t always get out of your safari car and explore on foot in national parks. However, Nairobi National Park has many well-marked trails that you can use to explore. We’ll show you a safe way to walk that includes a path to a hippo pool where you might also see alligators.

There are also rhinos, buffalo, and maybe even cheetahs, leopards, or lions that we might see on the walk.

The Ivory Burning Monument is another interesting place you can see in the park that you won’t find anywhere else. A memorial mound made of burned ivory is a protest and a warning to people who have killed elephants for their ivory.

This powerful sign was made to bring attention to the problem of poaching around the world and to show support for Kenya’s weak elephants.
