African Photo Safari Tours

African Photo Safari Tours, When you see them up close, they always look weird and dramatic. You wish to spend more time with this wildlife and remember the exciting moment you “meet.” Of course, you grab your camera and set up the shot. Your 4×4 Jeep is in the right spot to get the best view and see that look in the elephant’s eye. That was it—you stopped time. You’ll soon be able to share that moment with family and friends on a photo tour in Kenya or Tanzania.

Just one more reason why safaris are so great, especially our photo trips in Kenya and Tanzania. We know how to get you close to that shy group of gazelles or that sneaky leopard that’s hiding in the trees, the last rays of sunlight lighting up its spots.

We know Africa very well because we’ve been taking people on safari for more than twenty years. Whether you’re a beginner shooter or a seasoned pro, our expert guides and naturalists know how to get you to the most photogenic spots, where it’s almost impossible to mess up.

Going on a photo safari during golden hour

That’s when the light is softest and most “golden,” right before and after sunrise and sunset. The land and the animals both seem to give off a magical glow.

We will plan your game drives so that you can enjoy the best lights in nature. As the sun rises, you’ll be able to take pictures of animals slowly emerging from the mists of dawn. Your professional guide knows how to line up your 4×4 Jeep so that you can take the best pictures.

He also knows how to spot different kinds of baboons in the trees and where a group of lions might show up.

On an Safari Trips to Kenya photographic tour, you’ll see a lot of these things and have lots of chances to take pictures that will last a lifetime.

And if you keep working on your skills in the fields and savannahs of Africa, which are the best photo school in the world, you will get better quickly.

A Day on a Safari to Take Pictures

Like most trips, we want to get up early, maybe even before dawn to catch the first rays of light. It’s also quiet at this time, and animals are just starting to wake up.

We’ll get ready for a beautiful morning. The animals then take small steps out of their hiding places at night to find water and food. For the first pictures of the day, you raise your camera.

Your 4×4 Jeep is a great place to shoot from. All of our safari shooters are given binoculars and lots of cold water in bottles. They are also given sandbags to balance their cameras on.

You can follow that speeding cheetah across the fields because the Jeep’s pop-top roof lets you see clearly in every direction.

We also offer open-sided Jeeps on some of our photo trips. With these special cars, you can see everything well from your seat!

After a busy morning, we might want to take a break at our hotel during the hottest part of the day. But you can change everything about our photographic trips, so you can choose how much time you want to spend in the bush and savannah.

In the late afternoon, the light starts to fade again, and we’ll use the orange and pink tones to find more wildlife against the bright background of the sun going down.

If you want, we can also set up night game drives in the parks or conservancies you choose. We’ll tell you how to safely take pictures of big and small animals at night.

We’ll start over tomorrow in one of the beautiful wildlife parks and areas in Kenya or Tanzania.

When is the best time to go on a photo safari?

Wildlife and plants in Africa are always searching for food, grazing, prowling, or moving. There is never a dull moment there. You can choose what you want to see from the many things that are there.

From July to October, a lot of people go on vacation to the Masai Mara to see the millions of wildebeests herding during this part of the Great Migration.

Many kinds of migratory birds stop in East Africa from January to March. This is a great time to take pictures of these colorful birds.

Another amazing sight is when the calves are born in the Ndutu area of Serengeti Park. From December to March, these big fields are filled with the sounds of more than 500,000 baby animals crying and taking their first steps.

Let us know what you’d like, and we’ll make sure that your photographic tour fits your needs.

Photosafari lets you connect with the land.

It is important to learn about this world’s past and culture if you want to fully understand its endless wildlife, vast savannahs, and deep acacia forests. This will only make you appreciate it more and show it through your photos.

Our skilled guides will teach us about the parks, the animals, the migration process, and most importantly, the native people we might meet on the tour trail. You will feel more connected to your safari if you know something about the Maasai way of life before you visit their town.
